The Structural Stability Research Council supports the international conference series on Stability and Ductility of Steel Structures (SDSS). SDSS was born out of the SSRC International Colloquium Series, which started in 1972. SDSS is intended to summarize the progress in theoretical, numerical and experimental research in the field of stability and ductility of steel and composite steel-concrete structures. Special emphasis is always given to new concepts and procedures concerning the analysis and design of steel structures and to the background, development and application of rules and recommendations either appearing in recently published Codes or Specifications from around the world.
