Join

Parties interested in the stability of steel and steel-concrete composite structures are encouraged to join us in our mission. Individuals interested in engaging in the activities of the Structural Stability Research Council should join the Council and its efforts. Members should have a strong interest in the stability of steel or steel-concrete composite structures, and should have at least a Master’s degree in a related area, and/or professional licensure, and/or equivalent degrees or certification.

Dues

Annual dues payment is expected from all Structural Stability Research Council members. Dues are used to continue the activities of the Council and are critical to the success of the Council. The Council provides several levels at which an individual or organization can contribute, including:

  • Euler Society ($2,400+)

  • Johnston Society ($900-2399)

  • Shanley Society ($600-899)

  • Beedle Society ($300-599)

  • Winter Society ($120-299)

  • Member-at-Large MAL ($70)

  • Student Member ($20)

The initial dues payment is made upon registering for membership. Members or organizations who prefer to pay by check should contact SSRC.

Renewals

 

Existing members will receive an invoice from Wild Apricot two weeks in advance of their annual renewal date. There is a two week grace period for most member types. Please contact ssrc@aisc.org or visit our Membership Site if you do not receive your invoice.

Refund Policy

 

The applicant agrees that, if duly appointed to Membership in the Structural Stability Research Council, the firm will abide by the terms of said Council's Certificate of Incorporation and of its by-laws, together with all lawful resolutions adopted by the Members of said Council or by its Executive Committee and which shall be in force and effect with respect to the firm. It is further understood that, if appointed as a Member, the enclosed dues will be for the annual membership dues. In the event membership is denied, the payment will be refunded in total. By becoming a member of SSRC you agree to receive email from SSRC concerning the structural steel industry, SSRC activities, and events.
