The revision cycle for ASCE 8-02 Specification for the Design of Cold-Formed Stainless Steel Structural Members will begin in 2018. The committee will be seeking new members to begin work on the next edition of the standard. Ben Shafer, Professor at Johns Hopkins University, will chair the next cycle. Practicing engineers, researchers, building officials, contractors and construction product representatives are all needed and welcome.
