Finite Element Analysis on Shear Strength of Cold-Formed Steel Shear Walls Using Corrugated Sheet Sheathing

Numerical simulations, as a substitutable method to experimental investigation, have received extensive attentions by scholars and researchers. Finite element analysis of cold-formed steel framed shear walls sheathed by corrugated steel sheets was performed using Abaqus software in this research. Besides, a series of parametric analysis were conducted and recommendations for practical application of this new kind of shear wall are presented.
